PRESS TOOLS & ELEMENTS PRIVATE LIMITED was started in the year 1974 by a group of Technocrats, as a Small Scale Unit to manufacture Tooling Elements, Jigs and Fixtures, Press Tools etc., mainly to cater to the needs of Aircraft and Automobile Industries.

The present management took over the complete management of the Company from the year 1983 and have been manufacturing Precision Tooling Items like Press Tools, Jigs & Fixtures, Injection Moulded Plastic Dies, Gauges & Templates and Special Purpose Machines to various Public and Private Sector Industries in India.

The Company is under the direct management of Mr. Tallam Venkatesh, Managing Director, who is a Qualified Engineer and has undergone Management Education and Training in U.S.A and Mr. Vivek D Tallam, Executive Director, who is a Qualified Engineer. 96% of the share holders are from the Tallam Family and is managed in a highly professional manner.

The Factory Area consists of 2 Buildings (9,000 Sq. ft) and is equipped with machinery made by reputed manufacturers. The Unit is also backed up with high Precision Measuring Instruments. The Unit has achieved niche in the Tooling Industry and continues to supply to reputed Companies like M/s. Motor Industries Co.Ltd., Bangalore (Licensee BOSCH, Germany). M/s. Premier Instruments & Controls Limited, Coimbatore. M/s. Hindustan Aeronautics Limited and its various Divisions.

In the Year 1995, M/s. Windson Industries was added to the Group of Companies. They manufacture Deep Drawn Press Components and Sheet Metal Fabrication as Original Equipment Supplies to Industries in and around Bangalore.

The 2 Units PRESS TOOLS & ELEMENTS PRIVATE LIMITED undertake manufacture of Special Purpose Machines (SPM's), Jigs & Fixtures, Press Tools, Press Components, Plastic Moulds, Precision Machined Components and Service Tools to reputed Industries.

All the units are Professionally Managed and have "QUALITY" as their slogan. The group employs around 100 people in all their divisions and has a turnover with a value of around 20 Million Rupees. The future plans are to add CNC Machines and expand the existing Tool Room to make it a World Class Tool Room to manufacture Precision Plastic Moulds, Dyes and Components to Electronics, Electrical, Automobile & Aircraft Industries.

Tallam.Venkatesh is the Managing Director of the Company and is a qualified Engineer, having a management degree and training from USA. A first-generation entrepreneur and an Industrialist running a string of Industries. Born in the Tallam Family known for business, Trade and Philanthropy. A person equally active and involved in social service and community service. He is a combination of Management Expert, Sports Administrator, Educationalist, Trainer, Philonthrophist and a good Communicator.

Joined Lionism in the year 1974 as a Charter Member of Lions Club of Sarakki. In the year 1978-79, he was the President of the Club. He became the District Governor in the year 1985-86. Multiple District Treasurer of MD 324 in the year 1985-86 and Multiple Trainer in the year 1991-93. Founder Trustee of Lions District 324D1 Service Foundation. He has held many Districts, Multiple District, All India and International Assignments completed meritoriously to his credit. Currently he is Chairman - MD317 PDG Forum (2016 – 18), Area Leader - GMT MD 317 & MD306 (2018- 20)

Attended 16 International Conventions and participated in many has won Recognition for his contribution to Lionism 100% D.G Award, 5 International Presidents' Medallions, 2 Leadership Awards and the Highest Award in Lionism – "AMBASSADOR OF GOODWILL AWARD". He is a Progressive Melvin Jones Fellow and also Second Century Ambassador.

He is the Trustee and Past President of Vasavi Vidya Niketan Trust, which runs 13 Institutions for around 3000 Students. Currently he is the Chairman, Governing Council for EDIFY School.

VIVEK D TALLAM is an Industrialist with 16 Years of Experience in our Industry which has been in existence for 45 Years, earlier a Tool Room, today a Production Shop. Our unit consists of the latest CNC and Robotic Welding Machines enabling us to use technology to manufacture zero defect products for the Tractor, Automobile, Aeronautic and Textile Industries. Have gone through extensive training under Mr. Tallam Venkatesh, the founder of this Industry, who has been my Guide and Mentor. Today, the Industries are managed by me. The industry under my leadership has kept both our Customers and our Workforce happy.

Incidentally our Company was rated as one of the best in the sheet metal manufacturers category by V.S.T. Tillers Tractors Limited in their recently concluded Golden Jubilee celebration and were honored for our achievement. We also have been recognized by companies like BOSCH, L.M.W, MOOG Aircraft Group and Pratt and Whitney for our Quality, Price and Supplies. We have taken a break away from traditional business to Industrial Engineering from the past four plus decades.

Tillers Tractors Limited, one of the leading Tractor Manufacturing Industries have recognized my leadership qualities and has selected me as the President of an Agro Parts Manufacturers Association Cluster consisting of ten Industries for implementation of Lean Techniques. B.N.| Cottons Chapter elevated me as the President for a two-term period.
